The clones are coming

Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal reported that the offspring of cloned livestock are currently entering the U.S. food supply and may be affecting our meat and milk. In January, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said that products from cloned cattle, goats and pigs were safe to consume, however, the WSJ reporter that a local Jefferson , Iowa , farmer has sent the offspring of cloned animals to the slaughterhouse in the past “several years”.
