The Rocky Mountain Institute of Food Technologists (RMIFT) will be holding a dinner and speaker meeting on February 28, 2008 at the Table Mountain Inn in Golden, CO. The night will feature Clare Hasler, the Founding Executive Director of the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science at the University of California – Davis. The topic for the night is Health Claims in the Unites States – Public Health Boom or a Tower of Babel? Label claims have been a topic of intense debate in the U.S. for more than two decades.
